Video and Blog post a day late!

Hi everyone!

Here it is again already Wednesday but this week I have a good reason for being late, it is the end of the Stampin' Up! year and I have been busy getting in those end of the month orders, working my team to make sure they reach their goals and the list just goes on.

It was another fun weekend as we got to watch the girls do what they love - DANCE!!  We also took the time for a family phot shoot and I can not wait to see them!  I promise I will share them with you!

Today's card is one of the cards featured in my NEW online exclusive class - Warm and Toasty.  Registration for this class opens up in a couple of days so make sure you check back or better yet, JOIN MY MAILING LIST so you don't miss out on this class or any my other great classes that I offer.

Here is the video showcasing how easy it is to make this card:

This card uses the Warm and Toasty stampet and I paired it with the First Frost DSP.   I love these two together:

Stampin' Creative Global Blog Hop - September 2020

Hi and welcome to our blog hop for September  I am so excited to be part of this amazing Global Blog Hop with so many of my stamping friends.  This month our theme is a fancy fold card.

I chose to showcase the card that I made for my mom to give my daughter, Claire, for her confirmation this past weekend.  My mom wanted a special card and purple is Claire's favorite color, so this is what I created.

I used the "His Love" stampset which was perfect for the occasion!

Here are the measurements to create this card yourself:

Highland Heather cardstock 4 1/4 x 11, score at 2 3/3 on each side and an additional layer of highland heather cut 4 3/4 x 3 1/4

Whisper white mat for the inside cut 5 1/4 x 4

Two pieces of cardstock vellum cut 2 1/2 x 2 - I ran these through the stamp emboss machine using the dainty diamonds embossing folder.

I  used the ornate layers dies and ran one of the dies through my machine using whisper white cardstock.

You can check out the complete list of supplies that I used to create this card below.

Thank you so much for visiting our blog hop today, to carry on with your hop please check out the full lineup below. Currently you are visiting Kim Vogel. To see the rest of the blogs in the hop please see the list below.

Video and Blog Post for the week of September 21st - His Love Stampset by Stampin' Up!

 Hi stampers!

Here it is again already Wednesday and I don't have my video posted for the week!

This past weekend was a busy one for our family. Saturday I hosted my first local retreat since March.  It was so nice to gather a small group together to share the day papercrafting!

Sunday was my daughter Claire's confirmation.  We hosted and made breakfast for the family following the service and pictures. It was a great weekend spent with both my family and my crafting family!

Today's card that I am going to showcase for you is one that I made for Claire's confirmation.  I will be focusing on a stampset from the annual catalog but paired it with the plaid tidings DSP from the holiday catalog. I love how it turned out!  My brother gave this card to Claire and she loved it!  I will also be featuring a card that I made for my mom to give Claire so make sure you check back tomorrow!

Here is a picture of the stampset that I used, it's PERFECT for all your religious card making needs!

Wow - this week is going by so fast!  It's hard to believe that it is Thursday already!  How did I miss my Tuesday video and blog post.I  did spend the last couple of days getting all my August kits out.

The girls also started school this week so we have had a new adjustment added to the mix of our schedule.  Both girls are doing online school, however, Natalie is going to our area technical center for a two hour block for Health Careers.  She is hoping to get into the CNA program her senior year and continue with nursing after high school.

This week I chose to create a card for you using the "Have a Hoot" Bundle.  This bundle is so cute and perfect for all of those that are owl enthusiasts.

Terrific Tuesday Video and Blog Post for August 25

 Hi Stampers!

How can it already be Tuesday!  This last week just flew by!  I'm sure it went extra fast for me as we started the fall semester of classes at the university where I work, Central Michigan University.

With all the Covid- 19 preparations that were implemented and put in place it sure was a busy and interesting start to the semester. We started with a Hyflex model giving students the option to attend classes in person or online and allowed faculty to determine the same.

I am glad the first week of classes are behind us and that it is starting to slow down. I didn't have too much time to create but I did have time to pull out the Love of Leaves stampset to create this card for you.

Check out my video for all the details on this card:

Isn't this bundle amazing, you can purchase it today for only $47.50
