Welcome to our blog hop for the month of August. I am so excited to be hopping with these wonderful ladies who have become stampin sisters to me though our love of papercrafting.

As a reminder, we will be hopping together once a month on the first Monday of the month to show you ideas and designs using current Stampin’ Up! products.

This month our theme is fall or back to school  I chose to focus on fall and pulled out my Rooted in Nature stampset.  I just love this stampset as it is so versatile and can be used for so may different occasions.

The card that I chose to share with you is SO SIMPLE!  I loved how the first one turned out so I stamped a few more in different fall colors.  Pictured below are cards made in Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Garden Green.

Have you ever stamped on vellum?  This technique adds such a wow factor to your card.  All I did was stamp with the leaf stamp randomly on the front of my card, next I cut a 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 piece of vellum and stamped my sentiment from the rooted in nature stampset using versamark and heat embossed using gold embossing powder, I simply adhered the vellum down using some washi tape.

See below for the complete list of supplies I used to make these cards.
