Touch Base Thursday - tonight at 7 PM ET

Hi everyone!

Just a reminder that I will be going live tonight at 7 PM for touch Base Thursday!  I will be showcasing some BEAUTIFUL cards I created with the Abstract Impressions Product Suite that is available in the NEW ANNUAL CATALOG!

I officially have the catalogs so let me know if you have not received one yet and if you would like one!  If you are local to the Mount Pleasant area they are available for pick up or at the next class that you attend.

I apologies for the long delay in getting last Thursday's projects posted.  Sometimes I get a little backlogged and I appreciate your patience with me.

Alaska Trip Achievers Blog Hop -May 2018



Welcome to our Alaska Trip Achievers Blog Hop for May 20187 and thank you for joining.  I'm excited to be participating.  Those hopping today are Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all around the world that have achieved the prestigious Stampin' Up! incentive trip that only a limited number around the world achieve.  

We will be hopping together once a month to show you ideas and designs using current Stampin' Up! products. I live in the United States and would love to help you if you have any questions.

Terrific Tuesday Video and Blog Post for May 15th

Hi everyone and welcome to another Terrific Tuesday!

I chose to incorporate a fun technique in this card referred to as the "Cracked Glass" Technique.  I love how this technique gave the card a vintage look.  Make sure you check out my video for all the detail on how to make this card.  

Before I share my video with you, however, I thought I would share some pictures from this past week.  Claire went to a YMCA camp with her entire 5th grade class.  She had a BLAST!  

Meanwhile, we had some beautiful weather this past week in Michigan and I enjoyed some fun in the sun with Natalie.  She worked on homework while I prepared some gifts for my upcoming retreat this Saturday. I will share the pictures of the gifts next week after my retreat.  









NEW CATALOGS HAVE ARRIVED! - I am happy to report I have the new catalogs in my hands.  I had some pretty excited ladies last night when I was able to hand them their NEW catalog at class!  Long distance customers you should have received your copy in the mail, and if you haven't you will any day now.

Terrific Tuesday Blog Post and Video for May 8th

Hi everyone and welcome to another Terrific Tuesday!

Today's project is a cute fun fold card.  This card creates a unique opening and is sure to be a WOW for your receiver.  

Here is a picture of today's card.





I chose to use the new stampset coming out in the annual catalog called "Animal Outing". This stampset was an all attendee giveaway at onstage in April. I paired this with some of the leaf paper from the "Share what you Love" Designer Series Paper.  This paper is available for purchase in an early release bundle.

Terrific Tuesday Video and Blog Post for May 1!

Hi everyone and welcome to another Terrific Tuesday!

Today's project is part two of ways  that you can use background stamps.  Today I simply use it as a watermark image by embossing with clear embossing powder.  I also demonstrate the inlay technique.  All the details are in my video below.

I chose to use the Burlapback ground stamp and paired it with the burlap ribbon to give this card a country theme

As most of you know, this past week was our dance recital for the girls.  It's always a FUN weekend but also a bitter sweet time for us.  They have both worked so hard and we are so very proud of both of them and all their accomplishments this past year.

Touch Base Thursday Facebook Live projects for April 26th

Hi everyone,

Here are the three cards that I created to share with all of you last night for my Touch Base Thursday facebook live.

Measurements to make this card are:

Basic Black - 5.5 x 4.25
Whisper white for the back piece - 3 5/8 x 4 7/8
Whisper white for the inside piece - 3 1/8 x 4 1/4
Real Red for the doors/gate fold cut 9 x 3 3/8 scored at 2 1/4 and 6 3/4


Measurements to make this card are:

Daffodil Delight cut 5.5 x 8.4 and folded for card base
Pacific point cut 2 x 5 1/4 and ran through the big shot with the stripes embossing folder
Basic black cut 3/4 x 5 1/4 

Cut the white piece for behind the door using the coordinating framelit to get it the exact size


Measurements to make this card are:

Pool party cut 5.5 x 8.5 for the card base
Pool party mat 5 1/4 x 4 ran through the big shot with the stripes embossing folder and then ran through a second time to add the barn door sliding track, it's a framelit (see below)
Whisper white piece for behind the door is cut 4 x 2 5/8

My focus was on the barn door bundle which is so easy to use, it just looks hard.
