Terrific Tuesday Video and Blog Post for October 16

Hi everyone and welcome to another Terrific Tuesday video and blog post.  Today I am sharing a Christmas card that I made for my husband's business.

Many of you know that he is an electrician and went out on his own about five years ago.  Every year I send Christmas cards to customers that have supported his business for the previous year.  It's just a small token of our appreciation that he is able to work for himself and have a more flexible schedule for our busy family.  


This year he had some input into the card that I designed. He knew that we wanted to use the truck stamp from the Farmhouse Christmas stampset, and when he saw the string of lights in the Making Christmas Bright stampset he knew we wanted it to look like the truck was pulling the lights.  This is what I came up with for him and he loved it:




Here is a picture of the two stampsets that I used.  They paired together nicely.

Before I share my video with you, I would like to share some pictures with you from my daughters 2nd homecoming.  This time it was her homecoming and she invited Gabe to join her as well.  They definitely had double the fun!  

They both looked so nice and it was so awesome to see them enjoy each others company.  My think my son Matt had just as much fun taking them in his truck.

Terrific Tuesday Video and Blog Post for October 9th

Hi everyone and welcome to another Terrific Tuesday video and blog post.  Today I am sharing a project that I am giving all of my retreat attendees this weekend.  There is still time to RSVP if your day is open!

My October 13th fall retreat is a 12 hours scrapbook/crafting retreat that will take place at Zion Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 3401 E River Road, Mt. Before I share my video with you, I would like to share some pictures with you from my daughters 1st homecoming event this weekend.  She went with her friend, Gabe, to his homecoming.  This week he will be joining her at her own homecoming.  They go to different schools so they get to have double the fun! Next week I will share pictures from homecoming take II.

Terrific Tuesday Video and Blog Post for October 2!

Hi everyone and welcome to another Terrific Tuesday video and blog post.  Today I am sharing a card that I created for one of my classes this past month.  I liked it so much that I had to share it with you!

I'm struggling with a cold right now, so please bear with me.  I sound a little off in my video :-)  
Today I demonstrate how to use the Stampin' Blends and I show an awesome card made using products from the festive farmhouse bundle.  Here is a picture of today's card:



Although this bundle is geared towards Christmas, the truck, house and tree can easily be used for other cards too!

Terrific Tuesday Video and Blog Post for September 25th

Hi everyone and welcome to another Terrific Tuesday video and blog post.  Today I am sharing a card that I created using the Dashing Deer Bundle that is available in the holiday catalog.  This bundle is great for creating the perfect outdoor scene.

Today I demonstrate how I made a winter scene using this great bundle and some sponging.

Although this bundle is geared towards Christmas, the dear in the stampset can be used or all occasion cards as well.
